Here at East High School in our auditorium, we welcome and thank the veterans from our city and throughout the states who have served our country. Veterans Day is a public holiday held on November 11, the anniversary of the end of World War 1 and the signing of the Armistice. We use this day every year to honor the veterans and victims of all wars. They are thanked for their service to the United States. Being able to welcome and honor the veterans of the U.S. in our auditorium is a great way to educate and show the people who our veterans are, what they have done, and what they do for our country.
